Fall
We finally made it to harvest. This year was rough and had its ups and downs, but the harvest was well worth it. With all the surplus fish, game, and vegetables we were able to have a grand gathering with New Africa to share in our bounty. The women folk spent three whole days preparing the feast while the men relaxed from all the work they had done to make the feast possible. With the colony finally self sufficient the future is looking bright and our hopes are soaring.
Summer
All of our fields are doing good. With the help of Noah's Indian planting techniques we were able to plant in our coastal colony. There has been word floating about from some of the other farmers that a rogue band of Indian's has been spotted killing horses in the night, but so far no human casualties. There has also been talk a witch living somewhere in the surrounding woods. This really has our hunters scared, but so far no one has reported seeing her.
Spring
Spring has come and things are looking up. With help from Noah's colony we were able to make it through the winter with only two casualties that were due to a house fire. My daughter pulled through and is now healthy and bubbling with energy. We played marbles the other night and it brought joy to my heart to see her so happy again.

Trouble in Winter
This winter has been brutal. We are in the last months of the season and our food supplies are dwindling. My daughter has become sick with fever and I must go out to the surrounding towns in hope of a doctor.

My Story
My Name is Cave Johnson. I hail from the land of England in the year 1756 of our Lord. I was elected the Protector of the People by the local government. We live on a coastal settlement near a colony known as New Africa. We are mostly hunters, fishers, and farmers but we also have a bakery which are few and far between in the new world. Most of the colonist came from the Catholic Church that left due to the church becoming too "Mainstream Catholic".
